Company Overview
Fairfax Neonatal Associates, PC (FNA) started the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Inova Fairfax Hospital over forty years ago. Since that time, we have continued to provide physician and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) staffing to the NICU at the Inova Fairfax Hospital (now known as the Inova Children's Hospital), one of the busiest NICUs in the country. FNA also provides neonatologists for the NICUs at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and Inova Loudoun Hospital. In our three locations we are responsible for the critical care needs of nearly 20,000 newborns each year. At the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, FNA also maintains a 24-hour on site pediatric hospitalist service.
Our success with even the smallest infants is well recognized throughout the community and has gained national recognition. Our neonatologists are actively involved in several areas of neonatal outcomes research.
