New Position -Pediatric Surgery  

The Driscoll Health System is now recruiting -- two locations in Texas-- Corpus Christi & Rio Grande Valley- New!  We are seeking two BC/BE Pediatric Surgeons to join senior partners, with a built in patient base, in South Texas.  The ideal candidate, MD/DO, will have successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency in General Surgery followed by successful completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Surgery and subspecialty certification in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

About Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is a 191-bed pediatric tertiary care center with more than 30 medical and surgical specialties offering care throughout South Texas, including Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria, and Laredo.  Driscoll Children's Hospital remains the only, free-standing children’s hospital in South Texas with the first emergency room created exclusively for children.  The hospital maintains a teaching affiliation with Texas A&M University Health Science Center and has a pediatric residency (45 plus residents). 

About Driscoll Children's Hospital Rio Grande Valley  

The new eight-level hospital will be located on the campus of Doctors Hospital Renaissance Health, making it the only designated, freestanding children’s hospital in the Rio Grande Valley.  The new location will further the mission to provide medical care to all children of South Texas by providing the following pediatric services: pediatric specialists, acute inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency services, Level III NICU, PICU, Rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, imaging, laboratory and child life program.

Requirements
